Actually within a yard of a tie in the Super Bowl. The OT coin toss more than likely would have decided the winner...

Do you people not understand how amazing Bruce was?

    • First team all pro nine times
    • Starting guard on all NFL 1990s team
    • More games than any other NFL player -- 296 -- suck on that Brett Favre
    • 19 seasons, more than any other lineman
    • Never missed a start because of injury
    • First ballot Hall of Fame
    • Only Titan in the Hall of Fame
    Bruce Matthews is a legend

It broke my heart when we hired him as coach. Since I figured he probably would not be very good at it and would have to be fired.

A guard can only do so much you know. I mean, he wasn't really a part of anything great but a few times.

come on man 9 was loved like no other person to be involved in the titans. He made us a good team, took this team on his shoulders, was a pro bowler and was one of the toughest guys to ever play tge game. Imo he should be in the hof, dead or alive.

I remember when i was a kid with two of my friends throwing football in centennial park. we say mcnair running by the parthenon, we were to nervous to say anything. he ran over to us and hung out with us and threw football with us for about 30 min
