VY named AP Offensive ROY

Well he did takes snaps under center at Texas,, many times. It's amazing how Greg Davis (Texas' OC) gets blasted for utilizing someone's talent (putting Vince in the shotgun and using the zone read) just because it bucks the traditional way of thinking. Geez,, what's next?? A black QB throwing to a white WR/TE?? HOOKEM TITANS!

 

I'm very happy for Vince. He had a large segment of the football population doubting whether he could succeed on the NFL level, and he's done a remarkable job for the Titans. Now is the time for VY to improve his game and not get complacent. As long as he stays hungry and motivated, the ROY award bodes well for Vince and the Titans.

 

Yeah, big Jamie was just saying on ESPN that it's time to get in "Peyton Manning" mode. Grab your playbook and gamefilms and go to work. There is no offseason for QB's. The league will catch up to you before you know it.

 

He may have taken snaps under center, but not 'many times'. At least not when he was successful. Vince even admitted going under center was one thing he had to learn to adjust to.
Only longhorn fans say things like 'he did this and that' when he didn't.

Go back and read my post, I said he was under the center many times and he was. Not that he was under center more than the shotgun. No doubt he was more comfortable and successful in the shotgun than under center.

As far as "only longhorn fans say things like 'he did this and that' when he didn't",, there's no need to lie about what he did at Texas,, there's tapes/DVD's to show what he did. Put on either Rose Bowl and enjoy! op: HOOKEM TITANS!

 

Perhaps an MVP award in the future?
