This is one of those news stories that doesn't even involve us and we still find ways to argue about it. Amazing.

Wow... he sounds like a complete d*ck.

    3-3 with Castillo.

    0-6 without Castillo.

Since Castillo left, they have set the NFL record for highest QB rating allowed over the stretch of 6 games. If you look at their defense their first six games, it was not at all the problem.

Again, I'm not sitting here trying to say that Castillo is an awesome DC, but he wasn't the problem this season. He was put in a terrible position - coaching defense after he had been an OL coach. He made the best of it and made improvements.

Washburn wasn't even one of his guys. Usually the HC hires the DC before the Line coaches... and lets the DC have a say in who he wants as the line coach. It's pretty apparent Jim Washburn wasn't wanted by Castillo and vice versa.. Thus the guy was put in a position to lose from the beginning..

If all of this is true.. Washburn may not be able to get another job in the league..except in tennessee. Reid is still a respected coach among other coaches in the league and why would you wanna work with a guy like Washburn after those reports. This might be the first time I've seen a coach being a cancer in the locker room and not a player
