We need the dline to step up

There are a number of factors that went into our sack totals. We had injuries and suspensions along the DL and we had a gimpy Hill and a ridiculous LT in the secondary. We couldn't blitz because of the holes in the secondary, evident by using a first round pick on a DB and when you have guys like Conover having to play and KVB hardly being able to walk by the fourth quarter (fatigue) the end result is fewer sacks. Although on paper it doesn't look like we have done much to correct the problem but if Long comes back near 100% and others stay healthy, not to mention a secondary without big holes we could see some definate improvement. Even without Pacman we could be a better secondary by simply having better players across the secondary. Finnegan should really be a force as well going into his second year. Hill should be healthier and we also have Griffin. It would have been nice if Fisher could have let one of the young Ss play last year because then we would know more about what we had before drafting a guy in the first round.
