I've watched plenty of him. I also know that Matt Ryan didn't have great decision making in college, it's fixable with a good coaching staff.

 

We can not promote from within. There's no one worth promoting. And I hope and pray we don't hire some new head coach with a defensive background. We have a lot of offensive firepower, we need to capitalize on that. I want the entire staff minus 3 guys fired. We need a fresh start. Fisher had his shot. After 2001 he was done. This is long overdue. But I think he'll slip thru the cracks because no one is watching. 2011 will be another 8 win season with Fisher.

 

I doubt if Harbaugh is even in play. Still has 4 years on his existing deal, plus a raise is already on the table.

I want Peyton Manning. I want Mike Holmgren. But I'm gonna get Vince Young and Jeff Fisher. There is no way that Bud lets either of these 2 go. Fisher will have to lose out to be fired and even then I don't see Bud canning him.

I really wish that Denver would start sniffing around and poach Fisher away from us.

 

I think Fisher doesn't have the emotional maturity to deal with a newer generation of players.

I want a new front office, guys who won't hestitate to roll the dice. You have nothing to lose by rolling the dice if you aren't a playoff team to begin with.

 

I keep hearing this, but based on Bud's statements a few weeks ago I thought he was pretty clear that Fisher is on notice.

The fact that he said "Oh God, yes" to whether Vince will be back, but only answered "He's under contract, too" to the same question about Fisher speaks volumes to Fisher's standing with him. And that was only after a 3 game losing streak - not a complete embarrassment IN Houston then at home.

 

Is there any coach on our current staff that would be seriously different than Fisher?

And Cecil should be nothing more than a DB coach, and by the way the DBs are playing, probably not even that.

And if Fisher goes, I bet washburn and Munchak go, too. Unless he went somewhere where they pick your coordinators for you, like Dallas did with Phillips.
