If we want to get into the postseason and we want to knock teams like Houston flat on their ass then what we need here is some swagger, attitude or something as simple as having an identity.

This is especially true for the defense and we have players who are making plays on defense such as rookie Zach Brown.Jurrell Casey has played well for two seasons and rookie Mike Martin has as well. There is a lot of young talent there and more to come once the draft rolls around.

Derrick Morgan is much better and second year player Karl Klug plays well when he gets the snaps.Colin Mccarthy another player with two years experience was doing quite well before getting injured.Akeem Ayers just finished his second year also and Alterraun Verner is one of my favorites at corner back.Would like to see what rookie Markelle Martin will do once bounces back and he is able to play.

Lots of young talent that are going to build a great defense we just need that one dominant player.....

One dominant player or 2, or 11. In all seriousness though, a new coaching staff could do wonders.

We need a SS, a DT could help, and a MLB would be nice.

On offense we have to add some inside linemen and then we could start winning.

If we draft my need, we should go
    1st G/C
    2nd SS
    3rd DT
    4th MLB
    5th CB
    6th BPA
    7th BPA

I have said repeatedly that we don't have the "smack them in the mouth" mentality on defense. Watch Seattle or Denver's D and you see guys that just know they are going to knock you down.

Our D, mainly our def backs, play on their heels...tentative....looking like they are just trying to avoid the big play. Our CBs always play so soft that we are just willing to give up 5 yds every throw to avoid the big play.

IMO that comes from the coach. Granted, with our safeties, they probably are scared of the big play every play...but I think we have to believe we are going to lay the wood on people and make them believe we will.

Right now we don't elicit concern for any offense. We reflect the personality of our coaches which is "yawn".

In short, opposing offenses talk about their game plan against our defense for about 10 minutes then go for an extended lunch and a nap after.

I think we need "smarter" players and smarter playcalling in certain situations than trying to figure out how to make these guys "tougher".

We need a physical identity and that begins in the trenches. I think our d line is above average but our o line needs real work. I think we need to trade back for warmack then go ansah and Barrett Jones in the early 2nd/ late 1st.

    What This Team Needs Is...

    1) A new owner
    2) A new GM
    3) A new HC
    4) A new OC
    5) A new DC
    6) A new QB
    7) A new OL
    8) A new DL
    9) A new FS
    10) A new SS

    Other than that, we're good.
