winning is the only thing that will get me off this guys back

IMO he's too monotone to be able to coach football, shows no excitement or passion, and I'm not one for theatrics on the field, I like a coach that's professional, but Munch just sucks.

Wins. More than 9 of them next season. And a team on the field that looks like they are deserving of those wins.

a 16-0 team wouldn't play the first round.

But really, a 9-7 season... hopefully a playoff birth. Locker looking better. Signs that we actually had a gameplan coming into the game.

The problem with Munchak for me is two-fold. First, I don't think he deserved to hired- he wasn't the best man for the job. It was given to him. So he starts at a disadvantage in my book. The 9-7 first year is a bunch of fluff- we had a cake-walk schedule and blew our incredibly easy chance to get into the playoffs. So I haven't seen any results that really impress me.

Second, his flat coaching style complements his ability to "tote the party line". There just doesn't appear anything fresh, innovative or energetic that comes from him. Couple that with how this year's team has been completely embarrased in more games than not and there isn't any hope for change, any hope that the performance is going to improve. There just isn't ANYTHING special about his team- no play-makers, no plays, no story line, no motivation- nothing. About as boring and uninspiring to fans as Munchak's demeanor is to the players. And it's painfully obvious to everyone who is watching.

So for me to like Munchak- I'd have to see: 1) some evidence he has had enough and players and his staff better execute or they will get the boot 2) some GD accountability for RESULTS 3) some QUALITY wins- not just knocking over some cup-cakes but some down-right undeniable wins that the Titans are the better team 4) some hard-hitting self-sacrificing style from the PLAYERS - THE WAY THE 49ERS AND RAVENS PLAY FOR THE HARBAUGHS.

That's what I'd need. Everything I see/hear about him makes me believe that we are just going to get more of the same apathetic excuse laden crap performance from the team.
