Yeah, he is pretty much a speed guy. If he didn't run a 4.2 he wouldn't even be a 1st round pick.
Well that 4.2 speed gets him open more often then not.
Yeah. If CJ hadn't run a 4.2, neither would he.
If some players weren't strong as hell, neither would they.
Even if you think he is a one trick pony (I don't) it's a pretty damn good trick.
Not when he faced good teams. He's a 3-4 catch guy, but he will make the most out of them. He's not the jerry rice you are making him out to be though.
He's not a one-trick pony in the sense he can be a solid-to-good receiver in the NFL, but he's definitely a one-trick pony compared to the top guys. He's not nearly dynamic enough to do more than what he's set out to do and that is be a D-Jax 2.0.
This. It's a weak argument to say if this guy wasn't this he wouldn't be this or that.
I'm not even the biggest Ross fan and I hate that logic. I could understand the pick if it happened however. We are pretty devoid of speed on this team.
I wouldn't mind Lattimore and Ross, that would add much needed speed to the O and the D . We need more speed on this team.
I'm still clinging to my dreams of Howard and Ross.
But lattimore and Ross makes much more sense. Is what I would realistically like to see happen.
We would have to trade up for Ross. No way he gets past the Eagles and Ravens.
Man, Howard and Ross would be a ballsy move. I'd be stoked if we pulled that off. At the very least it'd be exciting as hell on draft day haha.
