...if Wisenhunt isn't going to use him (FB/H-Back) much? When C. Wake got his 2nd of 4 sacks, we should have brought Fowler in a LOT more, to use in both pass protection and run blocking. I would have him in there all day, chipping Wake on pass plays, and slipping him out in the flat, as a check down target.

Wisenhunt should have gone max-protect early and stuck with it all game long. I remember being at an Oilers playoff game, vs KC, when Montana was about to retire. Buddy Ryan was the Oilers DC and they had a pretty fierce defense. KC went max-protect the entire game and it stifled what was one of the best defenses in the league...and they won the game, nickle and dime'ing us, with an occasional deep pass play.

When we are having difficulty protecting Mariota, screw having a skinny-arse scatback (DMC) in the game 2/3's of the time....use Fowler to block and run occasionally. Use him, dammit!

Because the Titans like wasting mid round draft picks.

The thing is, Fowler is a good player and you think that using a 4th round pick on a position that like half the league still has means you would use him right? Nah, another reason why Whisenhunt needs to go.

    I loved the Fowler pick.

Anyone got numbers on how many snaps he is seeing?

He didn't see a lot in the last game, like 10%. but we also got far behind really quickly.

I still like the pick but whatever. Hes 2/3 in his special package for running. he caused that nice fumble on special teams too.

He also screwed up on that last play at the goal line by running backwards when he was stuffed. Then he acted like he was hurt to cover up how bad it was.

Because they had already addressed O-Line issues on the round before with that sweeeet Poutasi pick.
