How moronic are you? 6 years is a failed console? Considering the rapid progress of technology in the last 2 decades 6 years is a great shelf life. And the PS2 still having games bears no relevance. Sorry that Nintendo and Microsoft would rather support the current generation of games instead of making games for an outdated system because they have a lot of sales in lesser developed countries and non-hardcore gamers/poor people in the states. I don't know a single person who has a PS2 and still plays it. Everyone either has a Wii, 360, or PS3 that is a true gamer.

Failed consoles? Lmao. And you're calling other people dumb. Brilliant.

Xbox ended up with around 28 million consoles sold, but you have to look at the big picture, MS came in vs PS2 and Gamecube and started from scratch. the first xbox and Halo paved the way for 360 and XBL. now 360 is nearing 60 million sold and 30 million paying XBL users. most people dont get how hard it is to come in and steal market share from Sony and Nintendo when they were doing great. Sega couldnt do it, Dreamcast didnt stand a chance against PS2. MS is doing great considering where they started in 2001 right after 9/11.

You clearly are dumb. I said only the FAILED Saturn AND the xbox and gamecube last 6 years. I never said the Xbox failed.

Who cares who you know? How is that relevant in the grand scheme of things? The people you know counts for about .00000000000000000001%.

Sales in lesser countries? NPD and the Japan sales suggest otherwise.

    53 million isn't near 60.

    Again, relevance?

I'm dumb because you can't process that the original xbox wasn't a failed system yeah ok whatever. You did say it was a failed system. Maybe you just have a short memory just like the bus you ride.

you might as well stick with what you got as Madden is unlikely to change that much ,despite new hardware.

    Dude.. come on. Really?

    PS3 was released 6 yrs after ps2.

xbox360 was released 6 yrs after xbox.

    Stop grasping for straws.

"still releasing games"... really? What are the hot ps2 exclusives?

So they add a madden game every year. That saves this debate!

Who cares? It's still supported and it's still making money.
More consoles have gone over 6 years than haven't.

    Point proven. Case closed.
