Really? D'dubs is practically mall food.
    Bottom of my list.

For some odd reason, that queso burrito just does it for me.

I'm going with West Coast Burrito on Baker's Bridge for now..
They do em up from scratch (grilled chicken etc) rather than a dried-out old tin of chicken that was cooked three hours ago.
Same folks that own Pancho's in Franklin apparently..

I've tried Moe's and wasn't overly impressed. Big ol burrito, but a lot of filler. Would rather have Taco John's crunchy chicken and potato burrito.

    Chipotle is solid.

But we got this lil mexicano joint in my hometown of like 4000 people... best burritos ever.

I like my local mexican restaurants a lot. real mexican food, made by mexicans who grew up with that food tends to taste a lot different than the "whitey" mexican restaurants like Moe's, Hacienda, and all of the Americanized kinds.

Not that the Americanized is bad, just not as good, IMO.

TexMex is code for white folks making Mexican food.
I agree 100%. If the guy taking the order needs a translator then the food is typically better..
Chuy's is some of the most overrated slop around, but people go nuts for it for some reason. I'll stick with Oscar's if I'm in that neighborhood.

California Burrito CO in St. Augustine. Better than most, but I stand by my statement that most of these places taste the same...

Try a Moe's burrito, then go to your local hole in the wall mexican restaurant. Big differences.
