I loved Arnie at his best along with Stallone and Bruce Willis.

Some of them I guess could be re made but some would be sacrilege.

For me every Predator 'sequel' has been a turd.
    Terminator 4 was pathetic.
Conan .....I have no interest in watching the 2011 movie.

As Nicksmith already said some of these films would be better re released and marketed than re hashed.

I can't imagine anyone but Arnie in Total Recall. In his prime a new Arnold movie was an event.I hated it when he quit for politics but Arnie was smart and quit before hollywood stopped making R rated movies.

I think it's a real shame that the studios are so spineless that they have to resort to remaking movies that have barely had time to gather dust.

I'll save that designation for someone other than Arnie, Bruce Willis or Stallone.
I'm pretty sure I read Total Recall was initially adapted for someone other than Arnie to begin with.

It went through a lot of stages, and development hell until Arnie took control of it. They really wanted him, so he had his way with them in negotiations.
He was given veto power, and basically hand picked the director due to his work on RoboCop. That movie is almost 100% Arnold. It probably would have never seen the light of day without him.

what did he do on Robocop

    Peter Weller played Robocop.

Was Ahnold the mayor or something like that?

I'm a TR fan - good, fun, original story.
Don't personally think it needed Arnold the way The Terminator did.
Just like the attempted 90's version of I Am Legend they wanted Arnold on board to sell tickets.
Niether Philip K Dick nor Richard Matheson had any idea who Arnold was when they penned those tales, both of which stand just fine on their own without Ahnold.

I read the Dick short story Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep - good stuff. And as is typical not much at all like the movie.
