    Honestly, women cry at everything. They can't help it. But, in this case, I can understand why someone would cry. It's pretty warming (not to sound like a Nancy or anything :)) to see the initial reactions of the audience/judges based on her appearance, and then see their reactions once the lady begins to sing.

    It's not really about how she looks (and I'd wager a good makeover would go a long way). It's just amazing that someone with that kind of voice not only was an unemployed 47 year old, but had seemingly no clue how good she was.

    I didn't cry watching it, but I can say that I've watched it over and over and it never fails to bring a smile to my face.
