The draft gurus gave him a second round grade before the injury, gotta give him a shot. Drafting a qb early hasn't worked for us the last few times and trying to add one who played spread offense and threw screens every play is not going to help the team in the long run. The titans will still blow, well clean house and the new regime will want their own qb. Why not take a blue chip prospect in LW and beef up the line

I just don't see a way Whiz magically changes his entire approach to offense and creates a system with which Mariota can be successful..

I don't doubt Mariota as much as I have ZERO faith in Ken Whisenhunt. By the time the next coach comes in, Mariota would've already been beaten up and torn down(Locker) that the new coach will want to get "his guy" in there. Be prepared with the vicious cycle.
