Man, those laser discs were huge, about the size of a large pizza box lol.

 

Don't knock DVD's. I will still pay the lower price for a DVD over Blu-Ray if it's a movie I feel I won't see much after the first viewing. Requirements for Blu-Ray purchases: Marvel/DC Comic Movies or Science Fiction movies like Interstellar. Drama and Action movies go to DVD.

 

I don't own one single blu-ray disc. IMO, movies will be going all-digital soon anyway.no need for hard copies. I remember when everyone would have lots of space dedicated for their CD/DVD collections.. Now you can fit it all on a single hard drive.

 

I get my blu-rays for cheaper than what the DVD costs. You just have to get them on sale or from Amazon. Most people are still under the impression that DVDs are always cheaper. Not always true.

Most blu-rays I get are $5 brand new and sealed from Amazon.

Those Marvel blu-rays stay expensive for a long time though.

 

Of course. They are Disney.

 

That's the problem. I have an extensive collection of dvd's and blu-ray movies in a case. I am very proud of it.

 

F*** Amazon. I gave those bastards 2 years of my life and gave them money as well. I'll pay more just to avoid using them.
